One active SamCERA General Member is to be elected to fill the unexpired term for the Third position on the Board of Retirement at a special mail ballot election to be held on March 13, 2017.

The General Member elected to fill the Third position shall serve the remaining term expiring June 30, 2019.

Each candidate for this General Member position shall be nominated by a petition signed by not less than ten (10) active SamCERA General Members. No member shall sign more than one Nominating Petition for this election.

Nomination Petitions will be available for circulation beginning Tuesday, January 17, 2017, through Monday, January 30th, 2017. Qualified Candidates may obtain petitions in person at:

Completed Nomination Petitions must be filed in person with the County Elections Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on January 30, 2017.
