Al David, elected as the Retiree Alternate Member in 2025, was a manager with the San Mateo County Information Services Department and is also a retired Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel. He retired from County service in 2024. Al was first elected to the Board of Retirement in 2008 as a General Member and has since served three full terms and two partial terms. His current term will expire on June 30, 2028.
